CVS Caremark - Medication sent me to hospital
I received 90 day supply of a medication different from what I normally take. Although CVS stated they saw the medication I normally took from Express Scripts records and that I regularly paid the difference, CVS choose to 1) just send the generic 2) not call anyone prior to changing the prescription and shipping 3) be absolutely rude ...
not 1 but 2 representatives... when I called to question 4) told they would not take a return of the unopened product and I must pay regardless of taking or not. Unfortunately I ran out of my regular medication prior to my doctors appointment I had to make to address this issue....so I took the generic. Well I was in the hospital for the next 7 hours...since the generic was so cheaply made the 3 pills coating dissolved before reaching my stomach and fussed together jamming in my esophagus causing extreme pain for over 7 hours!
I also will have to endure all of the bills yet to come that I will have to pay, time off from work, and cost and loss of time from additional doctors follow up visits.
Shame on you CVS Caremark for trying to save a buck at my expense. CVS Caremark should remove โCAREโ from their companyโs name immediately!
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
