I have had severe sleeping problems for years. I take four different medicines to sleep (75 mg amitriptyline, 1200 mg gabapentin, 45 mg mirtazipine and until recently 12.5 mg ambien cr.

Recently the problems started again, and after taking a day to research the problem, my doctor decided to replace the ambien with 10 mg of belsomra. Much to my relief this worked. He called in a small amount to a local pharmacy, and faxed a prescription in to Caremark. In their infinite wisdom Caremark decided they could sit on the script until just before my local supply ran out.

Yesterday they started looking at the prescription faxed in almost a month ago.

With two days worth of my local supply left they decided the could not read the doctor's DEA number on the script (even though they already had it on other scripts) and decided they would have to request a new script. Now if I have to a local fill I'll to pay for it out of pocket.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

CVS Caremark Cons: Arrogance.
