Three times my insulin has been delivered when I was out of town. The medication was ruined. Every time they tell me that it has been noted in my file not to send without my request, but it continues to happen.

Also, my doctor's office have to send requests multiple times because they get lost. The office has shown me the electronic verification of the requests. Caremark continually tells me that they have not received the requests.

Blue Cross has made a huge mistake with this company. I still get my generic medication from my hometown pharmacist and feel that she knows me as well as the doctor, and her diligence keeps me healthier. The only reason I get my nongeneric drug from Caremark is because I cannot afford the cost.

Be very careful.
